First thoughts about this course sitting on the first tee are very good. Layout looks good, and pretty to look at. The holes overall were fairly simple in layout. But, this course must have been on a fault line. It had way too many completely unplayable slopes. For example, on the 4th hole, a short par 4 that is very driveable, twice I hit what I thought was a great shot, guessing 10' range. Then, when rolling towards the hole, the ball accelerates and rolls not only off the green, but into the water. There is another hole shortly after that (sorry, forgot the hole number now), that I hit a good tee shot, down the middle, then upon landing, takes a left turn and rolls in the water. I only played this course once instead of my usual 3 times, wasn't worth my time. I think it has potential with some fixing, but as of now, I wouldn't play it again.
