Ok all you Linksters out there, this is it, this is the course you have been waiting for. This course is beyond excellent. The greens are very large, and slopes are very fair, but thats the easy part of this course. It's getting there that is the challenge. Most of the holes have several options to each one on how to play it. The big hitters, the ones who hit driver on every hole, will love it because there is usually an option to cut off some distance to the green. But they are almost always very tricky (read that perfect snap and wind read) to hit. There is usually a bail out place, but a much longer approach shot needed. To me, this makes a perfect hole. I made the screenshot for this course a bit larger to illustrate my point. It is the 4th hole, a short par 4. It is 314 yds, so its driveable, but look for yourself at the potential dangers involved. This is a good representation of the entire course. I swore when I started doing this site, I would never give a course a "perfect" score. This one had it, until the 18th hole. It is a par 3 with a green split into 3 parts, all of which are extremely small. At first, I thought how unfair! However, I think I realize the designers plan here. It's a make it, or break it finishing hole. Hit a good shot, birdie is not difficult. But if you miss, you could be looking at a big number. But the sheer smallness of the greens was the only point this whole course missed from being perfect in my book. The non-cable guys will have to just gut out the large size (31 Megs) of this beauty.
